Dr. Gan has about 10 years of research/work experience in the field of computational sciences. His research focus on implementing high order numerical schemes and non-reflecting boundary conditions to computational fluid dynamic(CFD) and computational aeroacoustic(CAA). The numerical schemes are include classical finite difference scheme, compact numerical scheme, spectral difference scheme. He is active in CFD, CAA, and turbomachinery design and modeling including sufficient journal publications. Dr. Gan graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and majored in Fluid Machine. After graduated, he took a visit at the Aerospace Engineering of IOWA State University in 2009. After a short period at the ISU, he joined ADI in February 2010 and worked as a postdoctoral fellow.
