CFD:

CFD modules include both grid-based solvers and particle-based solvers. Grid-based solvers include both structured grid and unstructured grid solvers for arbitrary complex geometries. Furthermore, reduced order models (POD-ROM and V-ROM) are implemented in CFD module and are tens to hundreds times faster than full-order simulation with enough numerical accuracy for real engineering problems. The particle-based (MPM and PPM) CFD solvers do not need grid generation and can be applied to any complex geometry and rotating simulation scenarios such as helicopter rotor and turbine blades and power turbines. The following features are enabled in this CFD module:

NACA0012 Tip Vortex and Swirl Velocity
¡ñHigh order schemes for both spatial differentiation (AUSM+, ROE, Van Leer and 2nd-4th order Central Scheme, etc) and time integration (five stage Runge-Kutta explicit and dual time step implicit) has been adopted in the CFD solver.
¡ñThis flow solver is developed for general use and is independent of flow conditions (e.g. Mach number can be as high as 50 and velocity can be approach to zero for incompressible flows and essentially no upper limit of dispersed phase for multiphase flows), and geometry configuration can be arbitrary complex, and the hybrid mesh can be used with the solver.
¡ñMultiple chemical reactions and thermal non-equilibrium prediction capability is enabled in structured grid CFD solver.
¡ñAdaptive Mesh Refinement (AMR) is implemented in unstructured grid CFD solver, which significantly improved the capability of sharply resolving moving discontinuity such as shock waves and contact surfaces as well shock-boundary interactions and flow separations.
¡ñThe multi-grid technique is applied to speed up the convergence in both structured and unstructured hybrid CFD solvers.
¡ñThe OPENMP/MPI is implemented in the code for parallel computation, which can speed up the computation further.
